The Breakfast staff were outstanding. Exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They couldn't do enough to spoil us. They even gave us a treat to bring on our drive.
The Widemouth Manor is a warm friendly pub/ hotel and looks out over the sandy bay which is famous for its surfing. Just off the A39, access to Devon and Cornwall could not be better.

The location was perfect with access to trails down to the beach. Our room was very upscale in an old English Inn. Great atmosphere and friendly vibe. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive. Thanks to everyone.

This place is excellent. It's a group of little cottages in a rural location. It's really comfortable, clean and warm. It's so quiet it's unbelievable. My accomodation consisted of a small cost 2 bed cottage. The water pressure for bathing and showering is brilliant, constant hot water. The kitchen is very well equipped and I had a brilliant range of tV channels.

We loved absolutely everything. The room was perfect with excellent attention to detail throughout.
It was immaculately clean, warm, comfortable and welcoming.
The owners were kind, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back soon

Really pretty place with lots to see and do. I loved the canal walk, Maer cliff, northcott beach....
Boscastle was only half hr away.
I stopped at sip n' sea at the rustic tea garden by northcott beach for drinks and snacks. A lovely spot and super welcoming.
Also stopped for coffee at the barge in Bude which was very friendly too.

I have stayed in many hotels all over the world thanks to Booking com.
I stayed at An Mor Hotel Bude and was falsely accused of smoking in the room.
Apparently they had pictures of tobacco taken by somebody after I left the room.
As I am a Non- Smoker and also signed the no smoking form stating as much upon arrival.
They accused me of damaging the room due to smoke and tobacco,
As I arrived late and was rarely in the room only to sleep, as I was visiting grandchildren who live in Bude, the room was mainly untouched.
Upon requesting to speak to a manager there isn’t any.
They took €117 out off my bank account and sent me a stiff notice stating tobacco was found in the room and smoke.
Although they did outline there are smoke alarms in the rooms.
I outlined quite accurately on the phone upon my arrival back home that I am a non smoker and this was false and this tobacco she talks off is not mine.
She was adamant that it was.
She felt it was enough evidence to take €117 out off my bank account and told Booking.com that I was smoking illegally in the room.
I have requested there evidence such as pictures or cctv pictures to be sent to my email
Which they have on file.( as a non smoker I feel I’m untitled to do this )
Upon asking for her name she refused point blank to give her details, and was rude in her manner to me although I’m assuming she is representing the An Mor Hotel.
Please stay away from An Mor Hotel Bude
I had a very bad experience and will never stay there again.

A lovely seaside town. Lots of restaurants, bars cafes. If you like walking there are coastal paths to follow. Great for surfers. Attractive wharf which has a pub, cafes and a bistro called The Olive tree which does really good food. For a really good Sunday lunch The Preston Gate Inn is a must. They have a large family adventure centre with an outdoor adventure playground. There is also a castle which is free to visit it has a cafe with stunning sea views. There are a number of beaches to visit. Varied shops consisting of a mix of both independent traders and well known stores. A great place to stay and north Devon is not far away if you wish to explore.

There is a great beach Summerleaze, which is really near the hotel where you can go on in summer or winter and have a great walk along the coast, or a paddle. There were lots of surfers out there.
There are plenty of cafes/restaurants to visit even in autumn/winter
Bude is a great central place to stay and easily visit other attractions in Cornwall and Devon - Eden project, Tintagel Castle, Lost Gardens of Heligan - just be aware that the satnav tends to send you down all those very narrow 1 track roads!
Only regret was that we didn’t manage to fit in a cream tea

Fabulous beach and swim pool. Great cliff walks.
Fabulous beach and swim pool. Great cliff walks. Walk to town from beach area quite flat but town shops are uphill. There is a river and a canal that run into the sea. A few nice restaurants and a few decent pubs. Plenty of coffee shops and a few takeaways.Falcon hotel and Brendon Arms do good meals.Nice walk along canal side to the beach. Parking by canal and large car park by the beach. Castle by the beach too.
The location was perfectly close to three (Crooklets, Summerleaze and Northcott) of the four beaches that we typically visit when were in Bude. Sandymouth and Widemouth can both be reached on foot for those that like to walk a little further or are a ten minute drive away. Bude town centre and Sainsburys can also be accessed easily on foot or a short drive.
The resort was perfectly well kept, clean & warm accommodation. Staff very friendly on arrival, we didn't need them for anything other than check in/check out.
Great place to stay for one or more nights in Bude, as besides comfortable en suite rooms and full breakfast cooked to order, the hotel has a fantastic casual dining restaurant operating in the evening. It is usually fully booked and fully deserves to be - it will be my first choice to stay in North east Cornwall from now on, either for work or a short break to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastline. The coast path virtually passes the front door of the property!
Really lovely 2nd floor apartment, with comfy beds - great pillows and crisp linen. Fluffy towels and great bathroom facilities with monsoon showers. Nicely appointed kitchen. A good amount of seating for 4 people and a good quality smart TV. We loved the swimming pool - we were able to book private hour slots. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea with table and chairs. Support from the Beach Hotel (who owns the apartments) to any questions was excellent.
The stay in the Grosvenor guest house was excellent, I liked the reception upon arrival, the room and the breakfast.
You get a good selection of what you would like for breakfast and the owners can't do enough for you. The other guests were also very nice and got on with them very well. The location in Bude is perfect, the walk to the beach is only 5 mins, local restaurants and the Town Centre is nearby as well. I would definitely recommend to others.
Lovely spacious caravan with everything you need for a family holiday. The site itself is only small but the pub attached serves great food with very friendly staff and there is a small play area for the kids to enjoy. You need a car to get around but it is only a short drive to Bude town or to the Atlantic Highway which will take you to lots of lovely beaches and ports along this beautiful stretch of coast.
Lovely welcome from hosts Flavio and Steve who are very knowledgeable about the local area, friendly and attentive. Offers of lifts to and from the bus station at start and end of stay was a lovely welcome. Room was comfortable and grounds are fantastic with animals such as dogs, chickens, donkeys and alpacas. Coast path is just on the doorstep and the walk into Bude along the path is stunning.
This was the first time in Bude for us and the Hotel had fabulous views. Our room had an exceptional view of the beach including doors that opened onto a small balcony. The restaurant and bar facilities were very impressive for a smaller hotel and I can imagine how popular the terrace becomes during the warmer months. We would definitely stay again, preferable next summer. Lovely food too.
Lovely familly room pub, restaurant and hotel. Rooms large with very comfy beds. Location ideal, and parking in BUDE is a big asset as the main car park gets very busy. Dinner was very good (pub classics kinda fare), the Cornish Rump steak was cooked Rare to perfection and both very big and very tasty. Breakfast was decent. Staff were very attentive and welcoming.
Excellent location facing the Bude Canal. 5 minutes walk from a large beach. 5 minutes walk into town. Traditional, family owned coaching Inn, with lots of history.
Car parking outside, or across the road in their private car park.
Breakfast is table service and a Buffet.
Full service hotel with helpful, friendly staff.
- Staff were brilliant, very professional, helpful and friendly.
- We had room 102. It was a reasonable size with a decent shower and very clean.
- Continental breakfast was very good.
- Location is fab. Walking distance of the beach, town centre, etc.
- Free parking at front and back of hotel.
An absolute gem of a hotel. The rooms were spotless. The staff were lovely. The location was great. The breakfast was delicious and the cocktails were exceptional. Everyone we spoke to were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bude.
I’ve stayed in Bude a few times it’s my favourite destination in Cornwall but first time staying here I love how close it was to the beach but also how central it was to the town. would definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be staying here again.
Dave and Joanne were extremely hospitable and showed us great care as their guests. We were well looked after and would highly recommend this as a place to stay when visiting the beautiful town of Bude.
The deco of the hotel was pleasant. Adequate outside seating areas with good views over the bay.
Evening meal was nice although a bit pricey and the waitresses were attentive.
So many extra ‘home comforts’ added. The owner really made it so cosy and all thought of everything for a comfortable stay. Really close to Bude too which was nice to walk in.
All the staff were lovely and very pleasant. Our room was spotless and the hotel covid-safe and aware. Breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is in a great location in Bude.
