About 25 minutes drive from the port. Close to Fira and not a crowded spot like Fira. Other places like Oia are easily reachable by car. A good choice if you want to avoid the bustle. You do need a car if you stay in Imerovigli. Not much you can do by walking.

it was the most charming place centered in a perfect location. It was quiet but with access to wonderful resturaunts, those above the resorts on the streets like Four Seasons or The Avacado were amazing. The workers at Sophia were knowlegeable and so helpful. The community buses are clean, beautiful and convenient and the jile to Oia wS stunning. the walk to Fira the capital of santorini was also lovely. The wineries the shopping the ruins...it has it all. I cant say enough about the people at sophia and how fabulous the breakfasts are. We were always pleasantly surprised by the grace of the people and the quality of the resort. It is important to be iphysically able and somewhat in shape to manage the stairs and access the room. This os what makes the place so magical and so calm.

If it’s possible, I’ll give them a million star rating!!! It’s customer delight at its finest. Their customer service is top notch. Few days before my trip, there were some changes about their facilities. I was contacted and informed in advance. They offered to upgrade my suite to another hotel, which they did. Their patience , prompt response, professionalism and customer service far exceeded my expectations. I will highly recommend them and won't hesitate to book this suite for my next holidays in Santorini. Beyond the obvious -- views from Oia, sunset over the sea -- we urge everyone to visit the amazing archeological site at Akrotiri and the Museum of Prehistoric Thera (in Fira) which houses many of the objects found at the Akrotiri site. If history and archeology interest you at all, these sites are not to be missed! (Ignore travel guide indications that Akrotiri is only open in the summer -- that is not true!) Also, visit the lovely little town of Pyrgos if you have time. We were able to travel in the off-season which meant that many stores and restaurants across the island were closed but it also meant that we totally avoided the infamous crowds.Katrin - 10Scored 10

Very special romantic location. Great for couples. Not as busy as Fira, but we visited in Oct/Nov in the shoulder season. Highly recommend avoiding the crowds! Though many shops and restaurants start closing or have already closed for the off season. Still many great options.Robinson

The rooms, pool and facilities are all fantastic and the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. It is only a small hotel, but the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. I have been to Santorini multiple times in the past few years and I have stayed in different hotels but nothing can compare to this hotel! The view is amazing, you have a panoramic view of Santorini from Akrotiri to Oia and of course the amazing Skaros rock. The area feels very secluded/private and away from the crowds. Honestly words can't make this hotel justice, you really need to experience it. I will definitely come back!

Breakfast with a view is a must. Their hotel pool is a great way to also relax. Short walk to grocery store/ATM, even closer to restaurants. Was a short 5-10min buggy/ATV ride to Fire (main town). Cannot fault our stay we had a wonderful experience!

It obviously isn’t looking out over caldera (but has sea views at breakfast and from some rooms) and is the ‘back’ part of imerovigli, doesn’t need to put you off, actually preferred this area to Oia and Thira walkable in 30mins.
