Uluwatu should be on your itinerary when traveling to Bali! It is a lovely place with a good vibe and perfect for surfing. We stayed at Ikigai, which is a lovely small resort. There were a lot of good restaurants and shops in the area. We were now there for 3 full days. Single Fin is a must at sunset and the food options and cocktails were amazing. I stayed at Uluwatu for 2 weeks in 2 different hotels. If I could plan my trip again, I would have moved around a bit more. I stayed at Bingin beach for 7 nights, which with hindsight was far too long, 3 days would have been enough, unless you're a surfer. Sal Secret was the second hotel and near to quite a few restaurants We visited Uluwatu Temple, watch out for the monkeys! We watched the Fire Dance at the Temple which was fantastic.
