The design of the room is absolutely on point! The room has wonderful details.
The bed is amazing…so comfortable!
The location is great and was a plus that the restaurant was opened our first night there, our meal and wine selection was very good. Was a bit disappointing to not try more on the menu! The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a parking lot not far away, very convenient.

An absolutely fabulous stay. Room 210 is fantastic couldn’t ask for more. The most beautiful sea view and every comfort you could wish for. The complimentary gin was an extra special touch. The staff all so attentive, helpful and friendly.

The view from out bedroom window overlooking St Ives harbour was fabulous, went to sleep and woke up with the waves hitting the rocks below us. Sadly balcony was shut due to windy weather.
No extra cost for a cooked breakfast. Good choice of menu for lunch/supper.
Set in tropical gardens, this elegant hotel offers wonderful sea views, an award-winning restaurant and direct access to Carbis Bay Beach, which is a member of The Most Beautiful Bays In The World...

We had a wonderfully restful night’s stay in a junior suite. The views were phenomenal. The suite had everything we needed, and more. The pantry with lemon drizzle cake in the afternoons was one of the many highlights of our stay.

Carbis Bay offers a serene coastal retreat with stunning views, pristine sands, and crystal-clear waters. Whether lounging by Bread & Breakfast or indulging in gourmet dining, every moment at Carbis Bay is a true delight. However, the hotel's location may require careful planning for those wishing to explore beyond the resort without a car. Overall, Carbis Bay offers a slice of paradise for those seeking a tranquil escape by the sea!

We chose the location for a short autumn break and it suited us because of the easy access to St Ives, Mount’s Bay etc. We also wanted to eat at the Ugly Butterfly as we are very keen on Adam Handling’s food.

Only went to the (lovely) beach once as the hill was so steep to get back up to accommodation near the the main road.
Good location for hopping the bus to St Ives and nice views.
The Cornish Arms pub is a nice spot for dinner/drinks.
Lack of recycling bins.

Heater provided for room as it was a cold day, books to read was a good touch but all the same author ! DVDs to watch an excellent idea , tea and coffee was easy to make in room. , food was great , unfortunately private cottages at rear had barking dogs all night which totally ruined my stay as they were left outside all night barking , this was not the fault of my hosts, and they said they would report to the agents at rear, I would stay again here however and they accommodated my walk in shower wishes which was great

Beautiful white sandy bay with restaurant, bar and toilets.
Beautiful white sandy bay with restaurant, bar and toilets.
Access is via a very steep hill but there is a small car park but costly at £20 a day.
Going down to the beach is fine, but going back up is a struggle, especially in this heat wave we’re currently having!!
The property is ideally located for both Carbis Bay Beach and Carbis Bay Station. St. Ives is one stop away and takes 2 minutes to get to and only cost £1 each way. The beach is excellent - very clean with clear water. Be aware that whilst the station and beach are walking distance, they are both downhill - the walk back can be tiring but not unmanageable.
Margaret and Martin are great hosts and like to spend time getting to know their guests with a genuine interest in them.
Adrian was brilliant, really lovely welcome upon arrival. Sorted out our room for an early check in so we could get out and on our way. Again a lovely welcome in the morning and offered to pack us some breakfast for our early leave. The bed was so comfy and made for the most comfortable stay in our three hotel stop of Carbis bay/ St Ives! Thanks
A great self contained cottage - with everything you need.
Not far from St Ives and Carbis bay beach.
Easy walking distance to a fabulous restaurant and bar.
They left drinks in the fridge and biscuits - which is a lovely gesture. It was easy to find a carpark nearby.
Bed was comfortable and unit was very clean.
A lovely property, well maintained property in a great location. It's a very short walk down to Carbis Bay Beach and super convenient for going to the Carbis Bay Hotel. Steve was very responsive + helpful and had kindly provided a few welcome gifts, including a much appreciated pint of milk + some wine!
Amazing Staff and wonderfull breakfast options with cereals, fruits, yogurts and different options of pastry. Nice and clean rooms as well :)
It is quite a down hill walk to the Carbis Bay Beach, but not far! Also a 40 min walk to St Ives through the SW Costpath.
Amazing apartment with fantastic unspoilt views over Carbis Bay.
Private gated parking, easy access.
Apartment wonderfully furnished, comfortable bed. Very peaceful.
We woke one morning and watched dolphins in the bay whilst sipping a coffee in bed....bliss!
Perfect home from home for a couple . This is our go to place year after year
Exceptionally clean e every facility you could possibly want . Lovely maintained outside gardens. A perfect gem in Carbis bay
Lucy the host is one in a million
Breakfast excellent, location fine as close to lovely Carbis Bay though immediate area rather depressing as among council-house type buildings.
Found the interior decor depressing too! Outside patio/garden was great.
Very cool, authentic, old pub, which I loved. The patrons and staff were very friendly. I felt like I was staying at a neighborhood hangout, not a hotel.
The restaurant/pub is wonderful.
Fantastic location, on the coastal path , one way to StIves the other to Carbis bay, beautiful surroundings, some building work next door but we were out all day so wasn’t too bad
Great cosy little hut. Good location with pub and tesco nearby and easy walk to St ives or Carbis Bay. Outdoor shower and bathroom very cool. Private access around back of house.
The hotel was along the highway, near Tesco, and also the bus station. There is an access foot path going to the beach for 7-10 mins walk and it just across the hotel.
